As always, my second and third months of each quarter are always a bit 'quieter', with those months dividends being primarily generated from my monthly payers and one or two larger quarterly positions. February's passive income stream was boosted nicely by the Royal Bank of Canada, and my new addition of Canadian Apartment REIT which I bought earlier this year.
So from the last comparative month of dividends, I am up Sixty-Six cents. So not a big improvement, but some either way is always good!
A very nice income. Over a hundred bucks in a month is a great step in the right direction. Good on you!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It is definitely a good start and 100% of my dividend income goes straight back into my savings to keep it building up. It also works out to be about $3.45 a day, enough to buy a small coffee and a muffin at Tim Horton s :)
DeleteNice job DW. It feels good to cross $100 doesn't it.
ReplyDeleteCertainly does! I am pretty eager to get to the point (eventually in the future) of being able to make a purchase every month or two from dividends alone, as I do intend to max out my TFSA contribution limit.
DeleteAwesome job! Triple digits all day baby.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I do believe every month is now $100+, woooo
DeleteNice income stream. I'm hoping to catch up to you someday!
ReplyDeleteEveryone has to start somewhere, if you go back enough to my earlier dividend update posts, you'll see it took time for me to get to where I am now. Just keep at it :)
