I also really enjoy watching the steady upward progression of my dividend income. Whether it be through actively adding more stocks, or new position into my portfolio, or the companies which I already hold raise their dividend payouts. For instance, this month my dividend income increased for both of those reasons!

In the last comparable month in August my dividend income was $96.59. With November bringing in $100.77, that is an increase of $4.18. While certainly that is not a huge amount by many means, it does represent a 4.15% increase in dividend income, or in other terms about twenty minutes of working at minimum wage, or perhaps a tasty treat of choice.
Triple digit dividends is a good month in my book. Way to continue increasing your monthly dividend payout. I sense you're starting to feel a little bit of that compounding effect. Keep the peddle on the medal my friend!

Yeah breaking into the triple digits consistently is great! And those dividends really are starting to go a long way towards my next stock buys to the point where I will wait a few days to collect a few more for an extra share or two. And certainly will be keeping up with adding to the portfolio, once I calculate what I need to spend on xmas I am hoping to have some extra cash for another buy sometime closer to the end of the month :)

Nice Dividend Wisp! I am thinking of getting some RY myself. I really like Canadian banks :)
ReplyDeleteKeep crushing it!

Thank you! RY had a pretty good dividend just like the rest of the big banks, and generally speaking I am happy to always add more to any of the ones I currently hold.
